Yes. Your Florida non-resident fishing license is issued directly by the State of Florida (Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, FWC) and is valid for recreational saltwater fishing anywhere in Florida — the Atlantic Coast, the Gulf Coast and the Florida Keys. It does not cover freshwater fishing (lakes, rivers), which requires a separate freshwater license we don't currently offer.

Yes, if you're 16 or older and not a Florida resident, you need a valid license for recreational saltwater fishing. Fishing without one can lead to a fine of up to $100 for a first offense, rising for repeat offenses (and possible criminal charges).

Just your passport number. If you have a US driver's license or state ID, you can use that instead. No other documents are needed — we handle the whole application with the FWC.

Since we begin processing immediately after payment, refunds are only possible if we're unable to get your license issued. In that case you get a full refund. This doesn't apply to delays on the Florida authority's side once the license has already been paid for — in that situation it's necessary to wait for processing.

No. Non-residents under 16 don't need a license for recreational saltwater fishing in Florida at all — they can fish with no license and no need to be accompanied by a licensed adult. Everyone 16 and older needs their own license.

We offer 3-day, 7-day and annual options. Pick the one that covers the length of your stay in Florida — for shorter trips the 3-day or 7-day license makes sense, while the annual is better value if you're visiting more than once during the year.
